Sitting Down with Shelly Schubert
This week on the Nailed It Wall Mrs. Scofield and Mr. Lane the STEM Guy have the pleasure of sitting down with Mrs. Shelly Schubert DVUSD's Deer Valley Online Learning K-12 principal. Mrs. Schubert reflects on the social and emotional needs of students/parents/teachers, her time at Sierra Verde STEAM Academy and a special lunch date with a kindergarten teacher that resonates with her to this day. Mrs. Schubert is opening DVUSD's first K-12 online school and shares what she is most excited about moving forward. Our hosts loved having the opportunity to sit down with their former assistant principal and listening to her story. Mrs. Schubert has a mountain to climb and Deer Valley Unified School District has selected just the person to make this learning platform a tremendous success.
