Back to School
This week Mrs. Scofield and Mr. Lane the STEM Guy talk about music to every parent's ears (Back-to-School). They talk about welcoming a new batch of students, the highs and lows of the first day/week of school, and an EPIC grading failure. They also talk about Amazon's #clearthelists push to support teachers all over the country. They also talk about some gifts they received (screen printing and a new Mono Price 3d printer). They each share their goals for the upcoming school year (Google Innovator, Apple Distinguished Educator, and Sphero Hero). Mr. Lane shares a story about teaching 1st graders all about failure with the Rubik's Cube, and how a random 8th grader walked in and blew all of their minds. Mrs. Scofield shares about her STEM class's Sphero Battle Bot designs and the importance of offense and defense in the dome.
